The economic situation in Monaco is generally strong and stable. The principality has a very low unemployment rate and a GDP per capita that is among the highest in the world. The main drivers of the economy are tourism, finance, and real estate. Tourism is a major contributor to the economy, with visitors coming from around the world to enjoy the principality's luxury hotels, casinos, and fine dining. Finance is also a key sector, with a number of international banks and financial institutions based in Monaco. Real estate is another important sector, with the principality's high-end properties attracting investors from around the globe.
